You will then experience the youthful and creative spirit of Uppsala, the fourth largest Swedish city with the oldest northern European university founded in 1477. Later you will be able to enjoy walking on the Swedens’s oldest pedestrian streets in the first Swedish city, Sigtuna, the place where Sweden originated. You will thereafter have the possibility to become more familiar with the Vikings era visiting the UNESCO world heritage site: the Viking city of Birka situated on the island of Björkö in Lake Mälaren, one of the most important trading centres for Vikings. During this trip, you will not lack culinary experiences, stories, history and the beauty of the Swedish landscapes.
